      Start Up

Each morning we begin by warming up our minds and bodies.

    • Years of History

Our Kura has a long, proud history serving the local Castlecliff Community.

  • Our Teams

  • We provide four classes with both immersion and mainstream options, taught at various learning levels by our talented team of teachers.

  • Team Teaching is a way that our classrooms differ from other schools. Our Teachers teach in pairs, alongside a fantastic cohort of support staff. This approach allows us to establish a very whānau orientated environment for our tamariki to thrive.

Yesterday was, officially, my last day as principal of this awesome kura. It has been a privilege to lead such a vibrant, forward thinking, community school. The staff are “simply the best”, the kids are true treasures and the whanau are strong & supportive. I couldn’t have been in a better school for my first principalship. I thank you all for the past six years and these beautiful taonga that I have been gifted - they will stay close to me in my next adventure as will memories of my Castlecliff whanau - you all have a special place in my heart. “Ehara taku toa, he takitahi, he toa takitini ” - My success should not be bestowed on me alone, as it was not individual success but success of a collective! ... Castlecliff Primary School

Thank you to 2 amazing schools - Castlecliff & WIS joined in a moving powhiri last Friday as I move from one school to the other. Words don’t seem enough to express how I felt as 200 Castlecliff students, staff & whanau accompanied me, honoured me & handed me over - I am truly humbled. ‘Ehara taku toa, He takitahi, He hoa takitahi’ captures the Castlecliff journey over the past six years and sets the scene for the following years at WIS. ‘My success should not be bestowed onto me alone, as it was not individual success but success of a collective.’ ...
