      Start Up

Each morning we begin by warming up our minds and bodies.

    • Years of History

Our Kura has a long, proud history serving the local Castlecliff Community.

  • Teaching Teams

  • Team teaching is a way that our classrooms differ from other schools.  Our teams consist of two to three teachers who work closely together and have the option to cross group or teach collaboratively as needs require.  Each team also has access to a number of Teacher Aides who provide both one to one and small group learning support for literacy, specialist in class support for Reo Māori and general in-class support to students.  Team teaching supports a very whānau centred environment for our tamariki to thrive in.

  • Meet Our Kaiako

  • Our kaiako are a passionate and dedicated team who bring with them a diverse range of qualifications, skills and experiences.

  • Our whānau classroom philosophy here at Castlecliff School allows our kaiako and support staff to work closely together to help our students thrive in multi-level classrooms where they can be fully involved in a tuakana – teina approach to learning.

  • Meet more of our team.

    • Staff are a team and in-tune with each other. There is an atmosphere of cohesiveness and this feeling that they like coming to teach our kids at this school.

      Castlecliff Parent
    • Everyone works extremely hard and I can’t express how grateful I am as a parent to feel I belong here as well as my kids.

      Castlecliff Parent
    • The whaanau orientated environment is a strength at the school as are the high standards in sports and academia.

      Castlecliff Parent
    • I love the free breakfasts and fruit – so relieved our kids aren’t hungry.

      Castlecliff Parent
    • I appreciate how much the school is emphasised as a hub. The computers and phones are available for parents and community members.

      Castlecliff Parent
    • I love the Newsletter – and that the kids are involved in the publishing process.
