I was born and raised in Whanganui and together with my husband, have six children and eleven mokopuna.

I have spent the past five years working with players, umpires and coaches at both a community and high performance level and using a participant centred approach to accelerate their development.

I look forward to transferring my learnings from this space back into the classroom setting.

I am passionate about fostering a growth mindset in our tamariki by creating a fun and exciting environment where learning is meaningful and driven by students, where the process is celebrated as much as the outcome and where they feel both safe and confident to take risks.

    I enjoy teaching hauora/hākinakina—health/sports. Hangarau Whakaaturanga—information technology, reo—language and tikanga—ā-iwi– social science.

I love spending time with my family, researching our family ancestry, reading journaling and all things netball!!

I feel so humble and excited to be here and looking forward to being a part of the castlecliff school whanau
